It is wall-mounted and heated electrically. The safety assembly is equipped with all the components necessary for protection. These include the shut-off valve, a backflow preventer, and a diaphragm safety valve. The safety valve of the safety assembly protects the downstream drinking water heater by automatically opening it, thus reliably preventing the permissible operating pressure from being exceeded. Please note that the operating pressure may not exceed 80% of the set pressure of the safety valve. The set pressure is 6 bar. This means that the safety group can handle a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar.

The attractive, compact fitting prevents the backflow of heated drinking water via the backflow preventer. A pressure reducer (according to DIN EN 1567) is also installed upstream of the safety group. The pressure reducer reduces excessive inlet pressure to the required system pressure. The maximum inlet pressure must not exceed 16 bar. The outlet pressure of the pressure reducer can be flexibly adjusted from 1.5 to 5 bar. The manufacturer has preset the pressure reducer to 4 bar. If the inlet pressure fluctuates, the safety valve prevents uncontrolled dripping from the unit. You connect the safety group via the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a connection diameter of 1/2 inch. Set your system so that the maximum inlet temperature during operation is 30°C. The mixer's control range is between 40°C and 60°C.
